Alan Monroy

Alan Monroy-Ojeda, an ornithologist researcher with a Master's in Tropical Ecology and an engineering degree in Natural Resource Management (specializing in Wildlife Management), serves as the Director of the "Kiekari" Bird Observatory. His work primarily focuses on researching and conserving neotropical raptors in southeastern Mexico, including the Harpy Eagle, the King Vulture, the Elegant Eagle, and the Black-and-white Owl. He is also a valued member of the Species Survival Commission of the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
