Benito Juárez El Plan


It is located in the municipality of Cacahoatán. It has an extension of 1586.22 hectares, 1201.83 of which are within the Tacaná Volcano Biosphere Reserve. The Evergreen Cloud Forest predominates as natural vegetation. There is also a group of curassow monitors (Oreophasis derbianus) who are committed to the conservation of the species.
