Ismael Galvez Galvez

Better known as "Halcón Peregrino"

Originally from Santa Isabel Siján, Chiapas, Ismael Galvez Galvez has dedicated 44 years of service as a Park Ranger in the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve. He has received several awards, including the Quetzal Award from the El Triunfo Conservation Fund in 2010, Recognition for his contribution to "100 years of conservation in Mexico" from CONANP, the National Ranger Award in 2022 from CONANP, and the International Ranger Award in 2023 from the International Union for Conservation of Nature and the International Ranger Federation.
