Jorge Silva

Jorge Silva, the Director of Legado Verde and the author of the book "El Desierto de La Soledad: Tiempos en una selva sin tiempo" (The Desert of Solitude: Times in a Timeless Jungle), is also a co-author of the books "Chiapas Indómito, El Triunfo" and "Chiapas Indómito, La Encrucijada." He boasts a collection of national and international awards for his photography, including the José A. Valverde Conservation Photographer Award from the Spanish Association of Nature Photographers. Jorge has also received honorable mentions in prestigious Spanish photography competitions such as the MontPhoto International Contest, AEFONA International Contest, and Memorial Marialuisa International Contest. Furthermore, he's been recognized with the International Oasis Photo Contest Award in Italy and has participated in the international "Magical Nature" contest in Slovenia.
