José Alberto Lobato García, known as "El Chivizcoyo," has been a dedicated birdwatcher since the age of eleven. He pursued his studies in Biology at the Universidad Veracruzana. Since March 2017, he has been the driving force behind the outreach project "Crónicas del Chivizcoyo, Historias de Aves," through which he shares ornithological knowledge and explores the intricate relationship between birds, humans, and conservation issues, primarily in Mexico and Latin America. He accomplishes this by weaving stories that offer profound insights into the lives of birds.
