La Pera Zone Subject to Ecological Conservation
The La Pera Zone Subject to Ecological Conservation (ZSCE) is a State-protected natural area, which stretches across an enormous extension of the municipality of Berriozábal, Chiapas; it is covered by beautiful Tropical Rainforests that overflow with humidity in a peculiar area of karstic origin. These are the closest Tropical Moist Forests to Tuxtla Gutiérrez, and places where we can have a close encounter with species of flora and fauna typical of the great jungles of northern Chiapas. In its almost 7,000 hectares, you will find camping sites, trails, and ecotourism centers that will allow you to disconnect from the city and immerse yourself in the fertile nature of Chiapas.
