Rafael Calderón

José Rafael Calderón, a biologist and author of 26 scientific and popular publications, played a pivotal role in the IHUITL project as a founding member and contributed to various projects related to bird conservation, citizen science, and community-focused birdwatching. He was a key figure in the Community Bird Monitoring Network, and his expertise contributed to the design and implementation of the Urban Bird Program. Currently, he works as a consultant, birdwatching guide, trainer, scientific designer, and illustrator.
